Hitting the streets

Within a month to go till the first ever Cutting East Film Festival we hit the streets of East London (Shorditch, Brick Lane, The Box Park). Our plan was simple, to get Cutting East out to the general public. We did this by handing out programs and talking to anyone who would stop and listen. As frustrating as it was when people declined we met many enthusiastic people along the way who wanted to know what Cutting East was all about. This was a taster of what’s to come in the following weeks into the run up of the festival; we hope to see many of the friendly faces we meet on Sunday at the festival, and many more as we head out to other markets. So keep your eyes open for Cutting East!
